Wisconsin Snowmobile Trail Pass Renewal
You need a valid trail pass to ride Wisconsin trails—no exceptions. These passes fund grooming, maintenance, and access. Full trail pass info is available at the WI DNR Website.
AWSC Members can purchase discounted snowmobile passes online through the AWSC website
Trail passes from AWSC are available after the start of the AWSC year, which runs from July 1 through June 30
Non-AWSC members can obtain passes online from the DNR at GoWild.WI.gov.
Both online purchases either through AWSC or DNR will provide a temporary trail use printable receipt. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issues all passes.
You’ll need your snowmobile registration number (and AWSC number if applicable).
Snowmobiles with a Wisconsin antique registration do not require a trail pass.
Buy early. Club and AWSC processes take time, and delays happen—don’t miss rideable days.
